Key Responsibilities :

Fixed Asset & Inventory Management : Maintain and review the fixed asset register, ensuring proper depreciation schedules and asset tracking. Support inventory management and job costing to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close : Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheets, and assist with month-end and year-end financial statement preparation.

Cost Control & Process Improvement : Monitor inventory costs, perform variance analysis, and recommend improvements for better cost management.

Audit & Compliance : Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial policies and reporting requirements.

ERP & Systems Support : Work with ERP systems and high level Excel skills.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with operations and finance teams to improve cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.

Qualifications & Experience :

CPA designation or near completion preferred

5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and inventory accounting

Expertise in fixed asset accounting and job costing

Strong knowledge of ERP systems

Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and GST filing

Ability to work independently and collaborate with executive management
