Job description

Project Manager Opportunity

Excellent opportunity for a Project Manager on this exciting PROJECT. Excellent working conditions and salary package. Minimum of 5 years project management experience in the subsidised to middle-income housing market.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Facilitation of the statutory housing development planning process and approvals.
  • Management of various contractors and sub-consultants.
  • Good knowledge of the housing code, DOHS subsidy project application process, NHBRC requirements, PDA process and GCC, NEC and JBCC forms of contract would be advantageous.
  • Quality assurance and management of subsidized top structure construction.

Ideal Candidate :

  • The incumbent will be required to take responsibility for and manage a number of subsidized housing development projects through the construction lifecycle; from raft and top structure construction, NHBRC enrolment, site supervision and quality assurance, coordination and monitoring of installation of water meters, coordination and management of signing of beneficiary consumer agreements and happy letters, maintenance of a beneficiary database and construction progress as well as reporting on all above-mentioned activities.
  • Desired Experience & Qualification

  • BSC Quantity Surveying Degree, BSC Civil Engineering Degree or BSc Land and Property Development.
  • Candidate must be appropriately registered with a statutory body recognised under the built environments act, or in the process of obtaining registration.
  • Computer literate.
  • Proficiency in English with good communication and report writing skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience in the subsidised to middle-income housing market.
