The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for aSpecialist, Giveaways & Promotions Programming.

As a member of the Fan Experience Department of the Toronto Blue Jays, this full-time role supports the planning and execution of promotions, giveaways, and event activations at Rogers Centre. Reporting to the Manager, Giveaways & Promotions Programming, this position plays a key role in continuing to elevate and improve our fan experience each season. If you are highly detail-oriented, enjoy collaborating across teams, and have a passion for baseball and live events, this role may be for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager in the planning, coordination and execution of the Jr. Jays Club and recurring Blue Jays promotions, including Jr. Jays Sundays, Loonie Dogs and Specialty Tickets
  • Assist in the development of the annual Promotions & Events Schedule, supporting the Manager with giveaway ideation, obtaining vendor quotes, development of giveaway item designs, and reviewing samples
  • Support the end-to-end giveaway logistics, including item ordering, production timelines, tracking, delivery coordination, and game day execution
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team on developing creative for promotions and events
  • Support on theme days and in-game elements to create a cohesive experience for fans across the ballpark
  • Assist with day-to-day marketing and fan experience needs as required
  • Conduct detailed reviews of giveaway items, including bobbleheads, jerseys, wearables, headwear, and novelty items, ensuring quality and brand alignment
  • Develop and maintain key vendor relationships to support giveaway and event execution
  • Assist with all Jr. Jays Sundays, Loonie Dogs and Specialty Ticket activation and décor elements, including concept creation, ongoing development, delivery, set-up, and strike
  • Create event documents and production schedules for Blue Jays promotional events and distribute internally to relevant stakeholders
  • Alongside the Manager, Giveaways & Promotions Programming, ensure all giveaway and promotional item orders across the organization are fulfilled and adhere to brand standards
  • Support the planning and execution of the Jr. Jays Club program, including coordinating the merch kit design and production, assisting with initiatives and benefits planning, and collaborating with external vendors on online portal design and program delivery
  • Manage the Jr. Jays Club inbox and online portal, while supporting website updates, merch kit fulfillment to members, and support in the planning and execution of program events
  • Create and organize presentation decks to support internal planning, post-event evaluation, and year-over-year sales and promotion efforts
  • Write and prepare promotional collateral, internal documents, and briefing materials as required
  • Assist in the management of storage and inventory for giveaways, prizing, event assets, and décor, both onsite and offsite
  • Support research into best practices and trends from other sports teams, leagues, and live events
  • Support on Rogers Centre concerts & events as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education preferred in Marketing, Events, Communications or Sport Management
  • 3-5 years' work experience in Promotions, Marketing, Events or Live Entertainment preferred
  • Attention to detail, with a critical eye for quality and accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Team oriented and ability to collaborate across many internal departments
  • Strong communicator who can listen and constructively share opinions and feedback
  • Strong knowledge of the game of baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays, and both current and past players is necessary to support effective giveaway item design and event planning
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate and contribute innovative ideas
  • Previous experience working with vendors and coordinating projects
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in customer service an asset
  • Must be able to sustain long physical days


Applicants must be willing and able to work all Blue Jays home games, including non-traditional hours, evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Salary: The anticipated base compensation range for this role is $62,000 – $64,000. Actual base pay offered within this range may differ based on a range of factors, including individual experience, education, skills, and organizational needs.

In addition to your base compensation, you will enjoy discretionary bonus opportunities, vacation entitlements, a comprehensive benefits package, and front‑office perks that reflect the excitement and community of working in baseball.
