The Analyst, Environment leads key environmental education plans, performance metrics, reporting, data management and analysis and audits for the Corporation. The position leads cross-department initiatives to facilitate environmental protection, management and compliance functions.#

- Core Responsibilities
- Program and System Administration
- Manage the Corporate Environmental Training and Awareness plan under the Environmental Protection Program within the Unified Management System.
- Work closely with internal Communications team to develop content for internal website and social media platforms.
- Update training modules with current information and ensure compliance.
- Assist on execution and reporting of Environmental Protection Program.
- Create and update documents including plans, procedures, and work instructions.
- Environmental Initiatives
- Provide Distribution and Transmission project support, including assist with heritage resource screening and approvals.
- Update project databases and information in web platforms.
- Analyze and trend project data and conduct and document file and field audits on projects.
- Act as departmental representative and provide support on internal committees relating to environmental management, training, technological changes, reporting and compliance.
- Plan and execute cross-department initiatives related to environmental improvements, greening initiatives and environmental outreach and training.
- Schedule, develop and deliver environmental seminar educational presentations.
- Reporting
- Assist with regulatory reporting on environmental compliance items.
- Collect and report environmental goals, objectives and targets quarterly.
- Coordinate and execute monthly, quarterly and annual departmental and corporate environmental performance reporting.
- Execute and assist on internal research and report writing.
- Department Support
- Assist with budget administration and invoice execution.
- Assist on departmental technology initiatives (e.g., webGIS, AI, Power BI) and act as the Environmental Administrator on corporate technologies.
- Provide expertise and technical guidance to operations and engineering groups internally on environmental matters.
- Maintain and monitor departmental websites, databases, file storage and dashboards.#
- Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Science (Agriculture, Natural Sciences, Geology, Engineering, Biology or Geography).
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- One (1) year of experience in the environmental field.#
- Additional Information
- Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters is required on occasion.#
