Your Skills
The ideal candidate :
- DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in machine operation or machining techniques OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Comfortable working with machines.
- Ability to read a measuring tape (imperial units).
- Good physical ability (50 lbs).
- Responsibility and autonomy.
Your challenge
What does an operator do at Morgan Transit?
- Read blueprints.
- Perform machine setup and shutdown for sheet metal bending.
- Measure pieces to be cut.
- Configure the machine for cutting adjustments.
- Cut various parts made of steel, aluminum, or stainless steel.
- Follow the company's health and safety rules and procedures.
- Perform all related tasks in compliance with the company's health and safety rules and procedures.
