Responsibilities
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products: provide tax guidance, review self‑prepared returns, offer full‑service return preparation, and manage product/software inquiries.
- Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to research and deliver accurate answers to customers in plain language.
- This is a virtual, customer‑facing role. Use state‑of‑the‑art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions for accurate record‑keeping.
- Provide timely, clear support in English for customers across Canada, many of whom are English‑only speakers.
- Meet a flexible schedule, working a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax‑preparation experience.
- Proficiency in using professional tax software to prepare personal tax returns, including complex matters: employment, self‑employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
- Strong customer‑service skills and confidence interacting via video and audio tools.
- Willingness and availability to work flexible hours.
- Proficiency in English; ability to communicate with clients nationwide.
Additional Qualifications (Asset)
- Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) returns.
- Experience preparing Quebec Tax (TP1) returns.

Compensation & Benefits
Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is: PEI $24.50‑$33.50 per hour BC $24.50‑$33.50 per hour Nova Scotia $24.50‑$33.50 per hour The position is eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans.
