Key Responsibilities :
Use different PLC programming
Allen Bradley or Siemens) devices including software to modify and read logic control programs.
- Maintain all production equipment to maximize operating performance.
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment and machinery efficiently, safely and in accordance with the electrical codes.
- Perform electrical repairs on all equipment as needed, and assist with the changeover of equipment, components and tooling
- Work in a cost-effective manner and maintains a high standard of quality and excellent workmanship.
- Conduce preventative maintenance programs and maintain maintenance records.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electric / electronic system faults, tune equipment and ensure adequate controls and safety measures are functional.
- Pass on information, experience and knowledge to other maintenance employee, to ensure effective, non-repetitious problem solving and machine repairs.
- Maintain safety standards of equipment and work area according to established procedures and as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.

Valid Red Seal Electrical Ticket
442A or 309A).
- 3-5 years maintenance experience in repairs and troubleshooting
- Able to use all equipment and machinery related to the trade requirements
- 3+ years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician in the manufacturing industry
- Automotive manufacturing experience an asset
- Must have strong electrical, mechanical and analytical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic machinery as well as PLC programming
- Must have good organization skills, be a self-starter and a team player.
- Ability to read blueprint drawings
