Senior Accountant

We’re currently in search of a proactive Senior Accountant to join our client in Dartmouth, NS. This is a versatile role within an established and thriving organization with a growing finance department.

The ideal candidate is an experienced accountant with an innovative and go-getter work ethic and immediate availability.

This contract opportunity offers schedule flexibility within a hybrid dynamic.

Key Responsibilities for the Job :

Full cycle accounting General ledger maintenance Financial analysis Financial reporting Support with budgeting and forecasting Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing Participate in the development and implementation of new processes Related projects as required

Experience & Attributes for Success :

Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business management, or other related field 5 - 7 years’ experience in a similar full cycle role Proficiency with accounting software Driven and proactive work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and management a changing workload Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills Professional approach displaying integrity and upholding strict confidentiality Proven ability to work collaboratively on projects as well as independently
