Senior Structural Designer (Revit Expert) | Burlington
Ausenco is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer with expertise in Revit to support industrial and institutional projects in Burlington.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 3D structural models and 2D structural drawings (steel and concrete) for industrial and institutional projects.
- Interface with other disciplines (civil / earthwork, architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure structural drawings incorporate other discipline requirements.
- Perform site visits, inspect existing structures, and prepare drawings and sketches of existing structures.
- Liaise with designers, engineers and project managers for direction, coordination, and feedback.
- Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects.
Qualifications
Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology (structural or architectural) from a recognized college.10 to 15 years consulting experience in structural steel and concrete modeling, design and drafting.Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D drafting is a must.Site experience and shop detailing is considered an asset.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi‑functional project teams is a must.Architectural design experience is an asset.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.The ability to work effectively in a team environment.Why Ausenco?
