Job Title : Weighscale Operator

Department : Public Works – Waste Management

Status : 1 Short Term Contract Part Time, Duration : 8 months

Salary Range : $31.11 / hr to $38.89 / hr

Hiring Range : $31.11 / hr to $35.00 / hr

Work Mode and Location : Onsite at 420 Railside Drive, Brampton (Heart Lake CRC)

Hours of Work : Saturday, Sunday 8 : 15 AM to 4 : 45 PM and Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8 : 15 AM to 4 : 45 PM. The shifts are a total of 7.75 hours. Additional shift Thursdays May to August 4 : 30 PM to 8 : 15 PM

What you’ll do

• Weigh vehicle contents and direct customers to the appropriate location for disposal.
• Adhere to pertinent regional policies and regulations.
• Deal with customer inquiries and incoming telephone calls.
• Make appropriate financial transactions
• Create, maintain and distribute end of day reports through proper opening and closing procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
