Position : Cash application specialist
3 to 6 month contract with strong possibility of extension and / or permanence

SUMMARY OF DUTIES :
The cash application specialist will be responsible for scanning and applying payment into the company accounting software, at a very high volume.

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Open the mail every morning
- Review and analyze checks
- Process / scan checks to deposit in the bank
- Enter all incoming payments into the system in a timely manner;
- Reconcile all receipts;
- Prepare and scan all documentation related to payments and deductions;
- Review and post manual credit note requests;
- Research and obtain missing documents;
- Respond to external and internal customer account inquiries as needed ;
Qualifications
