Job Overview

Toyota’s Body Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineering Analyst - Body. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage new model projects from all aspects of Body engineering in Toyota’s North American Body Manufacturing Shops, supporting the department’s objective to provide new model processes that meet all targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create project schedules and budgets for new and modified processes.
• Lead process development through process design, machine specification, equipment procurement and installation, safety risk assessments, dimensional accuracy investigations and process trials based on project milestones and events.
• Manage the project to achieve KPIs.
• Execute onsite equipment modifications during non-production time (weekends, holidays, etc.).
• Participate in team Kaizen and organizational improvement activities.
• Interact with inside and outside groups (Body Manufacturing Pilot, Stamping PE, Plant Facilities, etc.) to divide responsibilities and resolve conflicts.
