Description : SCOPE :

SCOPE :

Require a senior UX Designer with 8+ years of experiences to provide digital expertise and skills that support the transformation of online internal and public facing web services.

• By working with key stakeholders and as part of the project team, take a lead role in the digital transformation and providing design recommendations of a new user centric public website and nbsp;
• and nbsp;to serve the needs of the citizens of Ontario and judicial users and nbsp;, to provide a service that is accessible to all users regardless of their abilities, device, environment or quality of access. and nbsp;

DELIVERABLES :

• Plan and conduct user research and jurisdictional analysis.
• Interpret collected user research data and nbsp; and nbsp;and qualitative feedback from surveys and / or questionnaires.
• Contribute to user stories, personas, and storyboards.
• Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
• Create prototypes, wireframes, and taxonomies
• Conduct usability testing
• Identify users’ needs and understand how users consume and navigate content
• Plan and design the information architecture for the website; what information should go where? Which elements are more important and should be given priority?
• Create use cases and flow diagrams, and define information hierarchies
• Analyze product metrics such as daily sessions, time-on-page, and goal completion rate to evaluate effectiveness of existing copy
• Document all functional aspects of the product design process
• Combine UX thinking with design execution, to recommend usable and intuitive user interface and nbsp; and nbsp;
• Facilitate workshops to answer critical business questions through design thinking, rapid prototyping, and testing ideas with users

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS :

and nbsp;At least 8 years of experience in UX Design for large business transformation systems

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :

• Knowledge of usability factors in Human Computer Interaction and nbsp;
• Knowledge of interaction design principles and using industry tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin and OmniGraffle and nbsp; and nbsp;
• Knowledge of current web usability and accessibility standards and best practices, ensuring the service meets the AODA and WCAG success criteria and nbsp;
• Strong communication skills to participate in team discussions, ability to explain complex technical terms for a non-technical audience, make solution recommendations and document / explain work
• Ability to take on a leadership role, and communicate effectively with members of senior management, legal counsel(s), and members of the judiciary
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, to sell your ideas to colleagues, both technical and non-technical and nbsp;
• Demonstrated the ability to get buy-in from a team to implement new and improved ways of doing things

CRITERIA :

Criteria 1- and nbsp; Functional Knowledge and nbsp; (35 Points)

• Experience in working with technical and business partners in creating information architecture, sitemaps and nbsp;
• Experience creating use cases and flow diagrams, and defining information hierarchies
• Experience ensuring that a product or service meets and nbsp;AODA and WCAG success criteria and nbsp;
• Experience leading large and small group, cross functional workshops
• Experience in identifying user needs and understand how users consume and navigate content, prepare documentation to that effect and nbsp;
• Experience in designing usable, intuitive user interfaces for large projects

Criteria 2 - and nbsp; Technical Skills and nbsp; (30 Points)

• Experience in technical and functional design and architecture, especially for applications on Cloud, COTS solutions and SaaS, experience with cloud technologies
• Hands on experience in working with web technologies such as WordPress, WordPress Plugins, HTML5, knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, NodeJS, Golang, Web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and other emerging web technologies
• Experience creating prototypes, wireframes, and taxonomies
• Knowledge of interaction design principles and using industry tools such as Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Zeplin, OmniGraffle and nbsp;

Criteria 3 - and nbsp; Systems Analysis and nbsp; (30 Points)

• Knowledge of usability factors in Human computer interaction
• Demonstrated experience meeting AODA accessibility requirements for web-based solutions
• Strong communication, negotiation skills and ability to participate and lead discussions with business / senior leadership and judiciary on usability making solution recommendations and document / explain work

Criteria 4 - and nbsp; Public Sector Experience and nbsp; (5 Points)

and nbsp;Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organization

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER :

Knowledge to be Transferred :

• Research data, plans and amp; designs including architecture sitemaps, prototypes, wireframes, usability
• Project specific presentations, reports, status decks

Knowledge to be Transferred to :

Project Manager / Team members

Details of Transfer :
