The Faculty of Science at University of Ontario Institute of Technology (Ontario Tech) invites applications from qualified individuals for a teaching focused position in Computer Science at the Assistant Teaching Professor level. Applicants must hold a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or related field; a Ph.D. and / or industry experience will be considered an asset. Applicants who demonstrate teaching excellence and innovation, and a commitment to fostering equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are encouraged to apply. This position is subject to budgetary approval and is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026.

In keeping with our technology-enhanced learning environment, Ontario Tech seeks faculty members who will explore and develop effective pedagogical applications of technology in Computer Science education. The successful applicant will be expected to strive for teaching excellence, which can include some pedagogical research. The Computer Science program at Ontario Tech aims to provide students with experiential, active, and knowledge-based learning experiences. Teaching responsibilities will include the delivery of undergraduate courses and may also include the development and oversight of hands-on labs. Expertise in teaching systems programming, operating systems, and computer networks would be considered an asset.
