Job Title : Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team and work on a variety of industrial and institutional projects across the lower mainland. The role involves building, setting and stripping forms, layout and free forming, with a focus on footings, columns, pillars, and anchor bolts.

Responsibilities

• Build, set, and strip forms.
• Perform layout and free forming tasks.
• Work on footings, columns, pillars, and anchor bolts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Engage in civil and labor work as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Work Environment

Projects are located throughout the lower mainland, with frequent movement between sites. Current projects include seismic upgrades of schools and industrial projects. Parking is usually provided at project sites, and costs are covered. Work hours are from 7am to 3pm, with a 30-minute break at 11am. You will report to the site manager and work alongside up to three people. Dress code and safety gear are project-specific, with training provided for BC Hydro projects.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Ridge, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00 / hr.
