Mold Maintenance Technician

We’re excited to share an opportunity for a newly created vacancy as a Mold Maintenance / Setup Technician .

This role plays a key part in supporting daily production, ensuring equipment uptime, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and highly automated operation. You’ll work closely with production and maintenance teams to perform tooling changeovers, troubleshoot equipment issues, and help maintain consistent product quality across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on power molding presses.
• Complete mould / tooling changeovers and execute machine startups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and quality-related issues reported by machine operators.
• Support production to meet daily output targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with an experienced trades team across two shifts.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and communication with supervisors.
• Participate in departmental meetings, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.

Hourly Rate

$33 / hr + shift premiums ($0.50 afternoons / $1.00 nights)

Shift

Day / Afternoon rotation (bi-weekly)

Vacation

2 weeks (flexible to 3 for experienced candidates)
