Position Title : Early Childhood Educator

Location : Mahon Park YMCA Child Care (16th St W, North Vancouver, BC)

Term : Permanent, Full-Time

Hours : 35 hours per week

Shift : Monday - Friday with rotating shifts between the hours of 7 : 15am - 6 : 00pm (with break coverage)

Start Date : January 2nd, 2026

Salary : $31.56 per hour (Including $6 / hour Provincial Wage Enhancement Program for ECE IT license)

Reports To : Team Lead

Nature & Scope

Early childhood educators (ECE, ECE-IT / SN) at the YMCA ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children. By adhering to the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum, they design, and lead activities tailored to the interests and developmental stages of the children in their care. These educators also cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, fellow educators, and community partners to deliver high-quality childcare within the communities we serve.
