About Us

Sun Life hosts a talented team of marketers, process owners, and dreamers within our Client Experience Office. We turn raw ideas into real campaigns using a self‑contained, self‑governing group of experts who crave results. The Growth & Performance Marketing team within Sun Life's Client Experience Office holds a commitment to deepening its value to the Sun Life organization. We continue to enhance our client acquisition and lead generation capabilities while also supporting and building client engagement experiences for our Insurance Solutions business partners.

Position Summary

This is an 18‑month contract, and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager reporting into the Director of Retail Marketing – Insurance. In this role, you will combine strategic thinking with analytical rigor and a genuine curiosity to solve complex problems. You're driven to understand client behaviours, both spoken and unspoken, and the broader business landscape, bringing insight, collaboration, and strong organizational skills to everything you do. Together, we’ll build the client engagement strategies that will keep Sun Life ahead of the curve and support the individual life insurance business. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of digital marketing and harness your strategic and executional expertise.

Preferred Skills

• Strong owners' mindset and bias for action; proactively utilize resources to deliver results
• Experience with digital marketing in a direct marketing capacity (email, social media, online ads, push notifications, etc.)
• Experience with marketing and digital data analytics with the ability to distill meaningful insights and use them to solve problems
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and handle multiple priorities on time with excellence
• Communications skills (verbal and written) to effectively deliver complex information or ideas; ability to develop strong relationships
• Experience in progressive copywriting and editing, especially for digital tactics
• University or college degree in Marketing, Business or Communications; Manager, and reporting in Tableau
• Familiar with working on an agile team
