Outside Rental Sale Representative

Description

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
• maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team and with other teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and development. Identify and resolve client concerns.

Education and Experience :

• 3-5 years of Sales or Marketing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of marketing strategies and planning.
• Must be able to apply logical thinking to a wide range of problems, collect data, draw conclusions and offer constructive opinions concerning day-to-day activities.
• Must understand construction phases, job situations, and project conditions for the timing of approaching customer and rental product application suggestions.
• Knowledgeable of the entire rental fleet and be able to demonstrate equipment whenever appropriate to increase customer awareness of product offerings and product applications.
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Outlook and basic computer operation.
• Ability to persuade and influence others.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Previous experience with CRM tools.
