Job Details
The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individual to join our Recreation and Parks department as a Service Technician. Reporting to the Recreation Infrastructure Coordinator, this position will be responsible for supporting general maintenance, repair and upkeep of recreational facilities and equipment, including aquatics-related equipment and processes such as water chemistry or chemical-feed systems and building operational machinery such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing.
This position will support the operation of a multipurpose leisure centre (Servus Credit Union Place), two year-round indoor aquatic complexes (Fountain Park Recreation Centre and Landrex Water Play Centre), as well as three seasonal outdoor facilities (Grosvenor Park Outdoor Swimming Pool, Versailles Splash Pad and Woodlands Water Play Park).

Hours of Work
This position requires flexibility to accommodate day, evening, and weekend shifts, up to 40 hours per week. This position may also participate in an 24 / 7 on-call support program.
Compensation
The wage ranges from $27.89 - $33.29 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
