Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional relationship with the insurer primarily over the phone.
• Investigate the legitimacy of the claim, interview and take statements from policyholders, claimants and witnesses.
• Review information including estimates, photos, videos of property damage, proof of ownership, hospital records, and other pertinent information required to substantiate the claim.
• Negotiate a fair and cost‑effective settlement with the insurers, claimants or claimants’ legal representative either directly or through retained counsel.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range : $62,274.60 to $77,843.16. Eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with opportunity to earn up to 9%. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, benefits include a competitive rewards package, pension plan, paid time off including vacation, wellness, volunteering, and cultural or religious connection, BCAA membership, and more.
