We have an exciting opportunity in our Operations Centre where you will play a critical role in protecting people and maintaining secure environments! Our Operators are responsible for facilitating communication and responses between our Security Officers, clients, and Paladin management throughout the province, regarding emergency situations, special requests, site safety, and more.
Work Hours: These are 24/7 positions, so candidates with open availability to work morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of inbound / outbound calls and email communication
- Dispatch alarm response calls
- Initiate after-hour emergency service calls and security requests
- Use exceptional customer service skills while remaining calm and focused in stressful, high-pressure situations, adapting quickly in a dynamic environment
- Document all information into comprehensive reports
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of call center, dispatching, scheduling, security, or related work experience
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a willingness to learn new systems
- Detail-oriented with strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle confidential company and employee information, procedures, and facilities’ systems with discretion
- Solid security knowledge and situational awareness
