Job Title : Engineering Manager - Aerospace Stress Team
Location - Hybrid (3 days in office) Must be able to commute to Montreal or North Shore (Mirabel)

CapGemini Montreal are currently in search of a senior individual with experience leading a team on the technical front, with experience client facing and encouraging team growth.
Key responsibilities :
- Review and evaluate work packages, SOW’s and job descriptions shared by the client related to various mechanical and system design activities.
- Support the hiring process to fulfill relevant positions by providing mentorship to talent acquisition crafting job descriptions, reviewing potential new hire profiles and participating in interviews.
- Optimizing candidate selection process by proposing alignment of new talent to known needs and proposing creative solutions to maximize the utilization of strong candidates against the activities identified in Capgemini’s scope.
- Act as a people manager for a growing team support onboarding / welcoming, annual goal setting, training and development plans, annual performance feedback and compensation review, active management of performance improvement plans when required
- Develop strong understanding of the client organization and development process, to help advise on improvements to team structure, or efficient ways of working within our teams.
- Technical experience in Stress Analysis on airframe structures such as fuselage.
- Guiding the team on technical aspects of Damage tolerance (DTA) in Aerospace.
Required Skills
- Experience in or knowledge of Stress analysis (fuselage) must have
- Experience in Damage Tolerance Analysis nice to have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10 years experience in engineering or design functions at one or more aerospace companies
- Demonstrated ability as a people manager with responsibilities for hiring / firing, compensation, performance management, career development
- Exceptional interpersonal communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
