About the Opportunity:
Step into a leadership role while maintaining a healthy work-life balance! Our client, a family-oriented independent health facility, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Supervisor to lead their team in Innisfil. This is your chance to shape the future of the Nuclear Medicine department within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will:
- Perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures with precision and patient focus
- Serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), overseeing the radiation safety program and liaising with the CNSC
- Lead and support a team of 3 technologists, coordinating daily operations and contributing to department growth
- Act as the site manager for the Innisfil clinic, participating in leadership decisions
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in patient care and departmental processes
Required Qualifications:
- Active registration with CMRITO in Nuclear Medicine
- Registration with CAMRT/OAMRS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred
- Active professional liability insurance
- Certification as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Current Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate preferred
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and demonstrate flexibility
- Discretion and maturity in handling confidential matters
- Proficiency with PACS and general computer knowledge
