About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and personable Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This is a field-based position responsible for promoting FirstLight Home Care’s Brampton private home care and staffing services across retirement homes, long-term care facilities, hospitals, and community organizations while also engaging directly with families and individual clients seeking home care support.
The ideal candidate will represent our brand in the community — building strong relationships, attending healthcare and senior-care events, and generating new business opportunities from both organizations (B2B) and families (B2C).
Key Responsibilities
- Business-to-Business (B2B) :
- Conduct regular field visits to Retirement Homes (RH), Long-Term Care (LTC) Homes, Hospitals, and Community Centers within the Brampton and GTA region.
- Present FirstLight Home Care’s staffing and care solutions to facility owners, administrators, and directors of care.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop partnerships, and secure service contracts for staffing and care support.
- Attend and represent the company at industry events, senior fairs, and healthcare networking sessions to increase visibility and connections.
- Coordinate Lunch & Learn sessions, brochure drop-offs, and community presentations to introduce services and strengthen relationships.
- Build long-term trust with families and caregivers by providing compassionate guidance and clear information about care options.
Qualifications & Skills
