What & Why :
As a result of growth, a new team is forming to support operational readiness at an enterprise organization, and we are looking to add a Jira Administrator to this team.
In addition to your Jira strengths, this role will also entail running scrum ceremonies and doing the intake board for your nimble team.
Jira is a strategic platform and application used by many teams across the organization and you will play a crucial role in how the platform is used across the organization.
You will be responsible for front-end configurations, implementing customization, evaluating, implementing and managing plug-ins, integrations, and for being a go-to source for all Jira related questions and tasks.
You will be a key partner and SME working with internal PMOs and Jira SME’s across the organization to align Jira to our System Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
This is a really great time to join the team as you will be joining as they start to ramp up.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in office.
You :
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role :
- 3-5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator of cloud instances
- Scrum experience
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and project management methodologies
- Experience with Jira version upgrades
- Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language)
