Intermediate Project Engineer

We are seeking an Intermediate Project Engineer to help lead the successful delivery of complex projects from concept through to completion. In this role, you’ll drive project execution, improve technical processes, and contribute to product quality. You’ll also receive hands-on mentorship from senior leaders and gain valuable leadership experience by supporting junior engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow both technically and professionally.

Your key responsibilities will include :

• Managing the full project lifecycle : Collaborating with Chemical, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineers to produce work packages for production.Researching and qualifying new vendors and products.Working with suppliers and vendors to design and specify components used within our processes (pumps, valves, motors, filters, etc.).Supporting our internal Supply Chain and Production teams to ensure smooth project delivery.Partnering with the Quality Assurance team to ensure quality control processes are being followed.Assisting with commissioning at our factory and at customers’ sites.
• Implementing full-scale, repeatable plant designs, with opportunities to contribute to R&D, pilot systems, and new product development.
• Opportunities to become a subject matter expert, enabling you to expand your technical skills, while also developing project management skills.
• Representing Saltworks with customers and suppliers, including field visits to both (ability to travel to the USA is essential).
