We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Laboratory department.
Under the general direction of the Chief Medical Technologist, obtains and prepares specimens for routine analysis. Performs various routine Hematological, Microbiological, Biochemical and Immunohematological testing in accordance with Departmental Procedures.
Shift Rotation / Hours of work : Days, Evenings - 06 : 45 to 14 : 45, 07 : 00 to 15 : 00, 08 : 00 to 16 : 00, 09 : 00 to 17 : 00, 12 : 00 to 20 : 00, rotating
Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is the largest hospital in northwest BC with 27 acute care beds. They offer emergency services, ultrasound, CT scans, surgery, extended care, pediatrics, radiology, and obstetrics.
Additional services such as diabetes education, health heart and rehabilitation, podiatry, orthopedics and other visiting specialists.

Qualfications
- Graduate of an approved school of Medical Laboratory Technology and current Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science registration.
- One-year recent related experience.
- Experience in all the above disciplines preferred.

- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
