Your Responsibilities :
Under the supervision of a director or electrical engineer, you will be required to :
- Analyze and interpret plans and specifications from various disciplines (architecture, structure, mechanical, civil engineering, electrical);
- Review shop drawings and technical specifications, and follow up on approvals and acceptances;
- Compare technical documents to work completed on-site and provide necessary clarifications to contractors;
- Monitor the work and prepare reports in accordance with standards;
- Formulate recommendations regarding work acceptance and follow up with stakeholders;
- Propose solutions to technical problems encountered and monitor their implementation;
- Manage change requests and negotiate prices with contractors;
- Participate in site meetings, monitor schedules, and prepare minutes when required;

5 to 7 years of experience in building electrical work;Good knowledge of the Electrical Code and the Building Code;Excellent command of spoken and written French;Ability to interpret plans and specifications (architecture, structure, civil engineering, mechanical engineering);Team spirit and report writing skills;Proficiency with Microsoft Office;Versatility, autonomy, strong communication and negotiation skills;Vehicle and valid driver’s license (travel within the Greater Montreal area).Location :
