- and play a critical role in the construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. This night shift position (7 pm‑3 am) is based in Cambridge, ON and supports the project’s documentation, records management, and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Document Controller will be responsible for setting up and maintaining project documentation within the project filing requirements, including checking the quality of drawings and documents to be catalogued, as well as receiving, tracking, and monitoring drawings and documentation.
Responsibilities
Maintain the document control system to ensure all documents are tagged, retrievable, and securely stored.Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents received, ensuring they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.Regularly review and update documents to ensure they are current and comply with standards.Ensure all documents are easily accessible in the document storage system and retrieve files as needed by company staff.Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management.Train employees on records management procedures and policies, including documentation, retention, retrieval, and destruction.Collect, scan, and upload documents following established procedures.Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them.Print and distribute documents as necessary.Work with documents and records across various departments.Qualifications
Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar field.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in document or records management.Understands the importance of nuclear safety.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Problem‑solving skills and initiative.Proficient in MS Office applications and the MS Windows environment.Familiar with digital document management systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, and Acrobat.Able to travel to different site locations if required; work location may vary between office and on‑site trailers.Able to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time.Requirements & Working Conditions
The position is a night shift (7 pm‑3 am) and requires physical lift of 40 lbs and standing for extended periods. The candidate must be able to work independently, meet regulatory and project documentation standards, and support a safe, inclusive work environment.
