Your new role
In this newly created position, the Senior Manager in the Corporate law group, you will be overseeing a group of 20 Law Clerks.
roughly 6 of which are more junior whom you will be mentoring, although this group is truly the cream of the crop with respect to their experience in corporate transactions.
As the Senior Manager, you will be the face of this group, distributing and monitoring workload, liaising with Partners, Lawyers and frequently collaborating with Team Leads from other groups, including Special Projects to give insights on internal initiatives.
This is NOT a "working Manager" role, however your past experience as a Corporate Law Clerk will be of great value when speaking with and leading the team.
What you'll need to succeed
10+ years of experience working as a Corporate Law Clerk, and "Team Lead" OR "Manager" experience (whether formal or informal).
A complete understanding of the Canada Business Corporations Act.
