About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to join our Financial Services product team.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial services, preferably with a strong background in payments acquiring and acceptance and payments facilitation space.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the fintech industry and at least 7 years of total product management experience.

The candidate should possess a proven track record of successfully leading product teams, managing the entire product lifecycle, and delivering impactful products that meet both customer needs and business objectives.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to development of product strategy, translating customer and market insights into actionable product plans, and ensuring the successful execution of those plans.

You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate closely with stakeholders in Engineering, Design, CX, Finance, Risk & Underwriting and Compliance, and navigate complex challenges to bring innovative products to market.

Your ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution will be critical to your success in this role. You will help craft the product vision, strategy and execution while keeping a constant eye towards business results.

  • Ownership of defining product vision and strategy.
  • Lead team(s) to build platform capabilities that will enable us to simplify, scale and accelerate the build-out of world-class customer experiences.
  • Collaborate and drive initiatives with other product managers, designers, and engineers on influencing and guiding how we bring products to life across the ecosystem.
  • Manage key stakeholders and business partners across the organization to adopt and execute your vision with metrics and business cases
  • Viewed as a subject matter expert in your area(s) by presenting compelling business cases and providing business leadership and drive to results for your team(s).
  • Use data to inform your decision-making. An analytical, metric-driven lens is critical to the success of all of our product managers at Wave.
  • Identify innovative product opportunities for prospects and customers through customer engagement, industry research, and ideation.

You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following :

  • Have 7+ years of working experience in product management and a minimum of 5 years in the fintech industry.
  • In depth knowledge of financial products onboarding experiences including KYC, KYB and risk and fraud mitigation practices.
  • Experience leading product teams and taking new products from ideation to launch to scale in a Fintech environment
  • Proven ability to prioritize and make hard decisions in a fast-paced environment, while actively identifying and mitigating issues that have an impact on successful completion of goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the integrity and confidence to liaise with executives and senior management.
  • Have experience in and enjoy product management from conception to launch and growth. You understand what is possible, while pushing the envelope on innovation.
  • Are versed in customer and market research and can methodically go about understanding the needs of customers, the trends in the market, as well as the depth and breadth of competitors’ products.
  • Have experience leading and building software products from concept to launch and growth. A growth background is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills. Can effectively communicate and influence customers, business partners, product managers, engineers, and other Wavers in meaningful ways.
  • Can build different types of narratives, with the communication skills to connect with Customers, Engineers, and other Wavers in meaningful ways.
  • You can understand and articulate customer problems and know how to translate them into solutions that drive business outcomes.
