Position : Class 1 Local Delivery Driver (Kamloops)

Schedule : 3 x 12 Floater 4 : 30AM Start Time

Position Overview

The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Kamloops.

Starting rate of $35.94 with potential to go to a top rate of $41.97 per hour after completing 12 months

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include correctly offloading products recording delivery information accepting payment for goods when required and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects. The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times obeying all rules and regulations of the road and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid Class 1 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract

Proven ability of lifting pushing and pulling up to 80lbs

Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification

Excellent customer service skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic able to work with little supervision and be self-directed

Professional demeanour under stressful situations

High School Diploma or equivalent

Availability for holidays and weekends
