Description

Bizzabo is hiring a Senior Content Marketing Manager to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion through high-quality and multi-format content.

In this role, you will steward Bizzabo's industry-leading thought leadership and channels, including the Bizzabo Blog and the Event Experience podcast.

You'll collaborate closely with Bizzabo's marketing team and other stakeholders to produce multi-format, full-funnel content that brings our brand to life and demonstrates our event expertise.

Your content will be pivotal to building an owned first-party audience, providing value to our target audiences, and influencing revenue.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and doer, someone who is equal parts creative storyteller and data-driven executor.

You have a proven record of setting editorial strategy and developing text, audio, and video content that engages marketing and event professionals as well as the C-suite across the buying journey.

This role reports to Bizzabo's Vice President of Marketing.

Requirements

  • What You'll Do :
  • CONTENT STRATEGY : Collaborate with Marketing team colleagues to develop a content marketing strategy and an editorial calendar that delivers consistent, high-quality content across channels.
  • CONTENT PRODUCTION : Create and manage full-funnel, multi-format content (blogs, podcast episodes, emails, videos, ebooks, white papers, surveys, calculators, infographics, and event programming) for integrated marketing campaigns aligned to target personas and buying stages.
  • CONTENT OPTIMIZATION : Ensure content is optimized for SEO and AI discovery against target keywords.
  • CONTENT DISTRIBUTION : Produce editorial emails and newsletters, including content setup, scheduling, and performance tracking.

Collaborate on content for social media audiences and on building a social editorial calendar.

  • CONTENT AMPLIFICATION : Maximize reach by working with the press and writing press releases, as well as actively participating in industry community conversations across Slack, LinkedIn, etc.
  • CUSTOMER STORIES : Partner with the Customer Success team to amplify customer experiences through testimonials and case studies.
  • PERFORMANCE REPORTING : Regularly monitor, interpret, and report on content performance and related KPIs to identify opportunities and learnings.
  • INNOVATION AND EXPERIMENTATION : Constantly evaluate new tools, platforms, and processes, including AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Jasper, and Descript, to drive efficiencies and enhance content output.

Who You Are

  • 5-7 years of content marketing experience, preferably within the events industry and / or within B2B organization that targets marketers.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing engaging B2B content that successfully captures target audiences.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with excellent writing, presenting, editing, and proofreading skills. Video and audio editing is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Experience managing freelance writing and producer resources.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization. Experience using SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4) and conducting keyword research to build briefs.
  • Proficiency in WordPress and Hubspot. Airtable experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and work quickly and effectively under pressure. You enjoy a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment and you're able to proactively manage your own workload and balance several projects concurrently.
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with marketing colleagues and creatives to develop compelling content, including clearly and graciously communicating and receiving feedback.
