Accountant – Contract Position for Arctic Adventure

Full-time and contract positions available, with opportunities ranging from 4 to 10 weeks.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Plan and prepare audits, reviews and compilations according to Canadian Accounting Standards.
- Perform risk assessments.
- Generate and analyze accounting data.
- Work with clients' financial personnel.
- Prepare management letters.
- Participate in meetings with clients and other team members.
A successful candidate will have :
- CPA with recent public accounting assurance experience.
- Working knowledge of CaseWare.
- Practical and recent experience with corporate and personal tax preparation.
- Good understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles.
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical matters to clients.
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to solve technical issues.
- 3 or more years of post-CPA recent public accounting assurance experience is preferred.
- Experience using Profile is considered an asset.
- Experience working with not-for-profit and municipal clients is considered an asset.
