About the Role
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong automation and quality engineering skills. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions while also contributing to manual testing efforts when needed. You will collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure we deliver high‑quality, reliable, and well‑tested software.
Responsibilities
- Quality Strategy & Testing : Collaborate early with product and engineering teams to define requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing strategy, combining exploratory testing, AI‑driven insights, and risk‑based prioritization to prevent defects early.
- Automation & Framework Development : Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using MABL, Playwright / Cypress / Selenium , including Python‑based test suites, complex selectors, and integrations with AWS via APIs and WebSockets.
- CI / CD & Mentorship : Embed automated testing into CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), maintain pipeline‑as‑code, and mentor junior engineers while defining organization‑wide best practices and the Testing Pyramid .
Qualifications
3‑4 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, automating test cases and building frameworks using MABL, Cypress / Selenium, Python / Playwright .Experience with low‑code / no‑code test automation platforms (e.g., Testim, TestProject, Katalon).Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python for test automation and scripting.Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions .Exposure to testing microservices, APIs, or distributed systems.Expertise in writing robust XPath for UI element identification.Hands‑on experience with Jira, TestRail or similar test management tools.Hands‑on experience with Git and version control best practices.Preferred Skills & Experience
Familiarity with video technologies (ffmpeg, mediainfo, ffprobe) and video formats, streaming protocols, codecs.Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.ISTQB certification (nice to have).What We Offer
