Front-End Developer

We’re seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to support our client, a major provincial energy utility, in the modernization and enhancement of enterprise applications and customer‑facing digital platforms. This role focuses on designing and developing high‑performance, responsive, and accessible web interfaces that align with the client’s digital transformation strategy.

Mandatory Education & Experience

• Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of front‑end development experience in enterprise or large‑scale environments.
• Hands‑on experience with UI / UX collaboration, wireframing, and translating designs into functional interfaces.
• Experience integrating front‑end components with .NET or Java‑based back‑end systems.
• Knowledge of web security best practices, authentication (OAuth 2.0, SSO), and performance optimization.
• Experience working within agile development teams using tools such as JIRA, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Previous work in utilities, energy, or public‑sector organizations is an asset.
