Description :

As an automation professional, the desired applicant will share MPE’s vision to provide industry leading services to our clients throughout northern Alberta. The position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required. The successful applicant will work with our automation and controls team in our Edmonton Office.

Mandatory qualifications are as follows :

• Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware
• Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks
• Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support

Preference will be placed for candidates that also have the following qualifications :

Minimum 5 years combined experience in related positions to the above preference and mandatory qualifications.
