Reporting to the Medical Device Software Tools Lead, we are looking for a dynamic Software Tools Developer. As a part of a highly collaborative and technical team, you will develop innovative, user‑friendly software features for our revolutionary Globe® Mapping and Ablation System.

Location : Burnaby, BC. Hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain tools to assist in the development of software for our Globe® Mapping and Ablation System.
• Tools span code generation, static analysis customization, workflow customizations and testing automation frameworks.
• Utilize multiple languages such as Python, Java, C#, and C++.
• Apply regular expressions or formal text parsing.
• Analyze requirements and business case.
• Perform software verification and validation (V&V).
• Customize / integrate third‑party systems for requirements management, issue tracking systems, source code repositories and static analysis.
• Practice TDD / Unit Testing.
• Develop IDE plugin / extension development APIs.
• Develop HTML, CSS and web app frameworks.

Qualifications

Compensation

Base salary + 5% RRSP contribution. CAD $110,000 – $140,000 annually. Permanent employees also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.
