Our primary products include fertilizers, crop protectants and technical expertise.
Reporting to the VP, Finance the Senior Financial Analyst will be a results-driven, self-starter who is always looking for opportunities for improvement, and has the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting with an accounting designation (CPA);
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience;
- Strong abilities within the Microsoft Suite of products;
- Experience in preparing monthly forecasts will be an asset;
- Independent and resourceful with robust problem-solving capabilities;
- Strong sense of urgency with a focus on delivering high quality work;
- Motivated to continually ensure integrity and improve financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts. Work with various departments to collect and review expense estimates, update forecast reports and analyze variances to sales budget;
- Preparation of the annual budget. Distribute and collect budget expense templates, update and validate budget reports;
- Assist in the preparation of the 3-year financial plan;
- Support Planning department through analysis, reporting and ad-hoc requests;
- Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning process, working with key management personnel to monitor the demand planning process;
- Monitoring and reporting of KPI's to senior management, providing insight into business performance, including using and creating Tableau Dashboards.
