Production Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager with a strong background in fabrication and welding. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations in our fabrication department, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all processes.

You will work closely with engineering, quality, and procurement teams to ensure products are manufactured to exact specifications, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day production activities in the fabrication department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Develop and implement production schedules, optimizing workforce and machinery utilization to meet production goals.
• Ensure all products are fabricated to meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving safety.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth transitions from design to production, resolving any issues that arise during fabrication.
• Monitor and manage fabrication budgets, working to control costs and increase profitability.
• Ensure all employees comply with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.
• Train and develop the production team, promoting skills development and high performance.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and develop strategies for improvement.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with senior leadership regarding production status, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in production management within a fabrication environment.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues quickly.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
