As a Customer Service Representative / Sales Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales operations by managing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This position focuses on sales support and internal coordination, ensuring smooth communication between customers, production, logistics, and sales teams. You will handle inquiries, prepare quotes for smaller projects, and assist with project coordination in a fast-paced steel fabrication environment.

THE LOCATION
The office is located in Brampton, ONWork is Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break from 12 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 PMThis position requires full-time, in-office attendance at the Brampton officeTHE PRODUCT / SERVICE

Orders primarily involve steel products with varying complexity and size, depending on customer needsThe sales cycle is largely driven by project timelines and can range from quick turnaround quotes to large projects requiring several weeks to months for completionTypical sales cycle for routine orders is shorter, while major project quotes and approvals can extend the cycle significantlyCustomer service representatives support the conversion of quotes into orders and manage ongoing communication throughout the sales process to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfactionTYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and accurate informationPrepare and send quotes for smaller projects, ensuring pricing and details are correctProcess incoming orders and enter them into the ERP systemCoordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure order accuracy and timely deliveryTrack order status and proactively communicate updates or delays to customersReview and interpret technical drawings and specifications as needed for quotes and ordersResolve customer issues or escalate them to the appropriate team memberMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and ordersSupport project coordination for larger or more complex ordersParticipate in daily team meetings and collaborate on process improvementsSUPPORT & TRAINING

3-7 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, sales support, or project coordination within the steel fabrication, steel center, or heavy industrial environmentStrong knowledge of steel grades, plate processing, and the ability to read and interpret CAD drawingsExperience working with ERP systems and coordinating with production, logistics, and sales teamsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationshipsDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressureEDUCATION
Post Secondary EducationTECHNICAL SKILLS
