Lounsbury Chevrolet in Bathurst is looking for a Service Manager . You will be a key leader in the dealership, responsible for the overall production and efficiency of the service department.

Responsibilities
Supervise and lead employees in the Service department, including Technicians, Service Advisors, Warranty Administrators, and Service CashiersAddress customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and professional mannerMaintain and promote a safe work environmentMaintain relationships with suppliersEnsure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time deliveryManage quality assurance - setting quality standards, maintaining high quality of all garage activitiesResponsible for recruitment, adherence to company policies, and performance managementAnalyze and report on the department's daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators and industry trendsReview and use the monthly Profit and Loss statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goalsQualifications
Post-secondary diploma or degree in a mechanical / technical field preferred5 or more years of previous management experience in a technical environmentEffective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processesA clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, procedures, and other operational issues faced by the organization
