Position Overview :

Reporting directly to the Service Supervisor the Journeyperson mechanic will be responsible for tear down Inspection and rebuilding of all types of major components on a variety of Caterpillar equipment. These positions are located out of our Finning Regina branch on a 7x7 12hr shift.

Job Description : Major Job Functions

• Tear down Inspect for reusability and rebuild all types of Cat major components including transmissions torques differentials final drives brakes and various others
• Tear down Inspect for reusability and rebuild all types of Cat engines including 3500 series.
• Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
• Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
• Various related duties as required
• Complete technical documentation (service reports warranty crossover notes)
