Wildwood Outdoor Living is a locally owned garden centre dedicated to helping our community create beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces. We offer a wide range of plants, landscaping supplies, outdoor furniture, hot tubs, BBQs and décor. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Admin Assistant to join our team and support our financial operations. Responsibilities
- Record daily sales, vendor invoices, and financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and POS reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams regarding billing and payments Qualifications
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management
- Experience in retail operations Work Environment
- On-site at our garden centre in Saanich, BC
