Le cours est axé sur la législation canadienne réglementant les droits d'auteur, l'accès à l'information et la protection des renseignements personnels;
il examine différents modèles de licences concernant la propriété intellectuelle; et évalue l'incidence des technologies numériques sur la réglementation régissant la gestion et la diffusion de l'information.
