The Opportunity :
Career Services Manager, International will create and provide the leadership, strategic direction, and management for the Career services team at the campus level to ensure international graduates successfully transition into new careers.
What you’ll be doing :
- Hire, train, and mentor direct reports. Train and mentor, the Career services team members on the campus.
- Develop and actively participate in the training plan for all new Career services hires. Monitor the training plan results.
- Provide coaching and support in hiring and developing Employment Services team members. This will be achieved through communication of job expectations;
planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Develop strategies and tools to support student employment in field of study.
- Advise and provide support to the Career services team members and local Campus Directors with student issues pertaining to job readiness, employability concerns, screening of candidates for employment opportunities, and internships.
- Support Career services team members with establishing and maintaining employer relationships in the local community.
- Plan and execute special Career services events throughout all campuses.
- Monitor quality assurance feedback from students and address the feedback with the local Career services team and Regional Manager of Career Services.
- Manage job placement and internship reporting processes and statistics for internal and external reporting.
- Other duties as assigned, and which are in the best interests of the College.
What you bring to the position :
- Post-Secondary College Diploma or University Degree in Sales, Education, or Business.
- Minimum of two years of sales experience in business-to-business field.
- Minimum of two years of sales management, career services management or business management experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an educational environment.
- Previous experience working in career / employment services in an education environment is considered an asset.
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Travel within the Greater Toronto Area may be required.

Base Salary : $65,
