We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Person to join our clients team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks across facilities manufacturing plants and this waste recycling facility.

This is a Temp to Hire Position for people wanting Night Shift Work. We are accepting applications for people working in a variety of skill sets.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical electrical millwright and or general maintenance competencies with strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently or supervise maintenance projects.

A background in facilities and machine maintenance manufacturing or industrial machine maintenance and millwright work is strongly preferred.

Duties

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation
• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical and other issues using schematics ohmmeters and CMMS systems
• Conduct welding repairs and modifications as needed as well a potential millwright work and repairs
• Maintain machine and facility systems including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and mechanical and electrical schematics
• Lead or supervise maintenance projects ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met
• Conduct other general facility upkeep tasks
• Document maintenance activities and work orders accurately within software
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
• Assist in training or supervising junior maintenance staff or interns as needed

Required Skills :

Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance manufacturing environments Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in schematics and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems as it relates to machine and facilities management Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) welding techniques and mechanical and electrical components Supervising experience is a plus demonstrating leadership capabilities in maintenance operations Familiarity with software for work order management and documentation Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external clients Prior experience in industrial facilities maintenance is preferred but not required This role requires a proactive individual with excellent technical skills leadership qualities and a commitment to maintaining safe and efficient operations across various environments.
