Kardium develops a ground‑breaking medical device to diagnose and treat atrial fibrillation, a common heart rhythm disorder. Our mission is to deliver the best treatment for patients worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule resources and communicate daily production objectives to the production team.
- Participate in weekly production planning meetings.
- Coordinate activities with other departments to minimize production downtime.
- Lead or coordinate troubleshooting of production processes.
- Assist with non‑conformance investigations as required.
- Monitor productivity and quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead or participate in implementation of GMP, 5S, lean, and visual manufacturing initiatives.
- Provide Level 2 inspection support for production processes.
- Develop staffing plans based on planning objectives and capacity analysis and communicate resource requirements to the Production Manager.
- Drive employee training and assist the Production Manager with employee development plans.
- Plan and coordinate cross training to provide maximum production flexibility.
- Motivate employees to achieve objectives and goals by providing feedback and recognition.
- Conduct performance and compensation reviews.
- Ensure employees are aware of and follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive results.Ability to listen, gather feedback, present recommendations, and build consensus.High level of technical acumen and ability to understand technical documents and drawings.Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to drive continuous improvement.Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel.Effective communication across all organizational levels.Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.Post‑secondary technical diploma or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in a technical manufacturing environment.Experience in ISO 13485 or AS9100 environments preferred.Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.Compensation
$73,000 – $85,000 CAD (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution)Benefits & Well‑being
