Job Description
We are seeking an Android Mobile Application Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented developers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications that meet the needs of our clients and end-users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement modern technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards
- Optimize application performance to ensure smooth and seamless user experiences across various Android devices
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in Android development
Qualifications
5 years\' experience in Android mobile application developmentExtensive experience in Android application development, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications deployed in the Google Play StoreSolid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development toolsExperience working with remote data via RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party librariesGood understanding of and ability to navigate through C / C++ code, and adjust the code, if necessary, to suit new requirements / bug fixesWorking knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologiesSolid understanding of the full mobile development life cycleExperience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Practical experiencing working within an agile methodology (Scrum / Kanban)Fluency in Jira / Confluence – must exhibit an advanced user levelExperience with Git, Ant, and XML developmentHands-on experience with Linux or Unix environments, Shell scriptingExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsExperience in exception handling / resolving obstaclesExperience with Data ValidationAdvanced knowledge and experience with Office 365 applicationsStrong analytical and planning skills / experience with software development projectsGood team player who is self-motivated, analytical, detailed oriented and a logical thinkerEducation Qualifications
